Services & pricing

Strategic IT, not a ticket queue.

I'm not an MSP. I'm a senior systems administrator who does consulting and project work — strategic attention, scoped engagements, no SLAs to babysit. Fixed pricing on everything that can be fixed-priced.

Retainer options

Two ways to keep me on call.

Both designed for clients who want ongoing access to a senior IT brain — not a 24/7 helpdesk pretender.

Project work

The main course.

Most of what I do is scoped, fixed-bid project work. Twenty years of enterprise systems administration, brought down to small-business and high-end residential scale. If you can describe the outcome, I can scope the job.

In every engagement

What you always get.

A

Written everything.

Every change, every configuration, every "I'd do it like this." Documented in your own knowledge base so you're never trapped by a single vendor — or by me.

B

No vendor lock-in.

I'll never put you on a platform you can't leave. Your data is yours. Your accounts are yours. If we part ways, you walk out the door with everything.

C

The Major pledge.

10% of every invoice goes to H.E.R.O.E.S. DFW and other special needs nonprofits. Itemized on every receipt so you can deduct it where applicable.

Common questions

Things people ask.

Are you an MSP?

No, and that's deliberate. MSPs sell daily helpdesk and 24/7 coverage. I sell strategic attention and scoped projects. If you need someone to answer the phone at 2am when your printer breaks, I'll refer you to a good MSP partner. If you want a senior systems administrator who actually understands your stack, that's me.

Do you require long contracts?

No. Advisor is month-to-month, Partner is quarter-to-quarter, both with 30-day notice to cancel. I'd rather earn it every cycle than lock you in.

What's the residential concierge rate about?

High-end residential work — lake house Wi-Fi, smart home buildouts, family tech that needs to "just work" — is white-glove service. The premium rate reflects same-week scheduling, full documentation, family training, and post-install follow-up. Worth it if your time is worth it.

Do you work with nonprofits?

Yes — at 25% off published rates. Faith-based ministries and special-needs organizations are especially close to my heart. Just mention it when you reach out.

What hours do you keep?

Priority email response within one business day. I'm honest that I have a day job and a family. For true emergencies, the SMS add-on is the right call.

Where are you located?

Richardson, Texas. Remote work everywhere in the U.S., on-site within the DFW metroplex.

Not sure what fits?

Free 15-minute discovery call. We'll figure it out together — and if I'm not the right shop for what you need, I'll tell you who is.
